Air-quality regulator sets up expert panel to fast track EV shift amid hybrid-policy rift

Anurag Singh, Advisor, Primus Partners, shared his view that multiple factors such as weather, dust, farm fires, and geography affect pollution, but transport emissions remain one of the most controllable year-round contributors. He added that EVs have a strong edge as they generate zero tailpipe emissions, directly cutting NOx and PM2.5 exposure.
