Anurag Singh, Advisor, Primus Partners, shared his view that EV demand has grown significantly in 2025, driven by the expanding range of options in the sub-₹15 lakh segment. He highlighted that with players such as Maruti entering the space with a long-term strategy around charging infrastructure, market traction is expected to increase further. Singh added that Hyundai’s strong performance, particularly with the Creta, along with competitive line-ups from Tata Motors and Mahindra, has made the segment increasingly dynamic, potentially leading to shifts in the pecking order in 2026.
