Homeland Security’s reassignment of CISA staff leaves US networks exposed
09-10-2025
Devroop Dhar, Co-founder and CEO, Primus Partners, shares his view on the impact of shifting priorities on cybersecurity capacity in the US. He highlighted that CISA’s effectiveness relies on specialized expertise—analysts who deeply understand federal networks, toolsets, and long-term threat patterns. Reassigning such personnel, he explained, weakens institutional capability and slows threat intelligence operations. This can lead to delayed vulnerability scans, slower inter-agency coordination, and an increased risk of undetected threats emerging over time.
